Create multiple tabs, count words and lines, search and replace text, and keep drafts organized in one clean workspace. TabPad works well for meeting notes, temporary snippets, lists and longer plain-text documents.

Local-first and easy to use

Autosave stores your session in IndexedDB on your device. You can also open common text files and save documents back to disk when your browser supports file access. No note content is sent to the TabPad server.

Useful text tools included

Convert case, remove blank or duplicate lines, sort and trim lines, or format valid JSON. Tools can be applied to the whole document or only to selected text.
